Now, more than ever, first responders need competent, trusted, understanding and confidential support. The department with a developed chaplaincy program offers its personnel one of the absolute best solutions for preemptive and proactive care. First responders experience unique stressors. The sights, sounds, and smells experienced by fire, police, EMS, and dispatch personnel can impact them for years, even cutting short their professional careers. Having properly trained, embedded chaplains within a department can make all the difference in the longevity of personnel. This is what First Responder Chaplain Corps is fully committed to.

Rev. Peter Keady is also a Chaplain for the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop N, Lehighton, Fern Ridge, and Stroudsburg stations. He is also the Firefighter’s Association of the State of Pennsylvania Chaplain - East.
